SHED (Sealed Housing for Evaporative Determination) 

In addition to the exhaust gas emitted during the operation of vehicles, hydrocarbon vapours are also emitted during refuelling of motor vehicles, during the filling of filling station and on the car itself. In Germany alone, the share of motor vehicle HC emissions has risen by more than 50% over the last 30 years. On account of the internationalisation of the automobile industry, the strict regulations laid down by the American environmental protection authorities EPA and CARB have been included in the definition of the requirements put to testing systems worldwide. The SHED chambers by Weiss Umwelttechnik in which temperature can be conditioned comply with the detailed specifications laid down in the standardized evaporation and emission regulations. For this reason, many leading automobile producers and renowned suppliers chose test equipment produced by Weiss again and again.
